Today it is easy to start photographing and filming your underwater adventures. Most people like to bring back their memories, and on a dive holiday most divers use some sort of camera underwater to catch their treasured moments. COMPACT CAMERA

A modern compact camera is small, very competent and often have a sturdy build. The camera will enable your to shoot both still images and video. It is the quality of the image combined with the possibilty to shoot wide-angle and macro make them popular to people who think the Mirrorless is a bit to much. Todays most popular compact camera model come from Sony, Olympus, Canon and Panasonic, and the cost for an underwater housing start at around 230 euro.

GOPRO & OTHER ACTION CAMERAS

Many divers start their underwater visual journey with a GoPro as they are so small and easy to use with the fixed focused lens. There are many similar and popular action cameras today such as Paralenz and Insta360. If you buy a GoPro housing you can take your camera deeper, and a tray and handle is a must for the diving GoPro user.

PHONE UNDERWATER

Diver have started to bring their mobile phones underwater, as the camera funtion is so much better than it ever was. Photography, video, slomo and you can even edit the images and videos in the phone and share on social media. The latest underwater hosuings can harbour several phone models. Sometimes both iPhone and Android models.
