Automatic TTL or Manual mode
The YS-01 Solis strobe is equiped with DS-TTL ll circuitry that helps sending the correct amount of light automatically based upon light intensity from the camera’s onboard flash or optical TTL converter/Trigger. In manual there is a ten-level manual control function, to enable fine adjustment of the light level according to the photographer's intentions. With these functions, even an inexperienced underwater photographer can instinctively control the desired amount of light.

Increased light intensity from the target light
Compared with the predecessor model, lighting intensity of the YS-01 Solis’ target light is 40% stronger. Increasing the visibility of the light axis is much improved and it helps you understand the position of the strobe in relation to the subjects position more accurately.

Great light distribution and wide beam angle
Through the exclusively designed prism lens, the YS-01 Solis realizes a wide beam angle of 100°x 100° with ideal flat light distribution even when the accessory diffuser is not attached. With the diffuser the light will soften and beam angle will increase to 110°x 110°
