Description

Lens Macro Inon for GoPro with ZD mount

Highest Magnification Close-up Lens

The UCL-G55 offers the highest magnification among the UCL-G series close-up lenses. The lens provides 4x magnification (scale ratio) compared to the UCL-G165II.
The lens is specially designed for shooting tiny critters, enabling ultra-macro photography with GoPro cameras.

Bayonet INON ZD Mount compatible to support friendly and speedy lens exchange underwater.

Change FOV Setting for Further Magnification

The distance between two sticks represents a shooting range of the UCL-G55 when GoPro® is set to "WIDE". GoPro® cameras have several FOV. settings. By using "Linear" or other narrower FOV. setting it is possible to shoot at an even higher magnification.
Shooting at a high resolution such as 4K with "1.4x" zoom can enlarge the subject even more with relatively less image quality degradation.

The width of the Focus Stick, two sticks attached on the lens barrel, indicates the horizontal shooting range (when F.O.V. is set to WIDE), and it can be instantly flipped up when not in use. You can change the orientation of the Focus Stick vertically as well. The Focus Stick can be removed from the lens when necessary like during transportation etc.

Blur-free Focus Stick

The distance between two sticks represents a shooting range of the UCL-G55 when GoPro® is set to "WIDE". The Focus Stick for UCL-G55 has two protrusions representing minimum focusing distance with protrusions at camera side and far end of the depth of field with the far side protrusions (tip).

It is easy to take sharp and crispy high magnification close-up video by referring to the Focus Stick and checking the composition on the rear monitor.
The Focus Stick rotates 360° and has clicks every 90°, so it can be instantly flipped up when not in use. Vertical installation is also possible. The Focus Stick body is attached to the lens with retaining screw ring and can be separated from the lens when not necessary.
