This monitor system has been developped to be used in combination with cameras/housings that have a free HDMI port. The large 5.5” HDMI monitor displays every detail and is extremely helpful when shooting macro images.
The Shimbol M5 is a 5.5-inch full HD LCD screen with 1920x1080 resolution and 443 PPI pixel desity, as well as 1200CD/㎡ high brightness and 1000:1 high contrast.

This standalone HDMI monitor can be used in combination with every housing that has a M24 accessory port. The 5.5” HDMI monitor has a bright IPS display of 1920x1080 pixels and is not only extremely helpful for videographers but also for photographers; for example, to check the sharpness of their macro images.

The HDMI connection to the camera housing is female micro-HDMI. An HDMI cable is supplied to connect the bulkhead connector of the underwater housing to the camera, this cable depends on the make/model of the camera and the position of the bulkhead connector to the HDMI output of the camera, if the supplied cable is not compatible, it will be necessary to additionally purchase the compatible cable.

The monitor underwater housing includes a vacuum leak check circuitry and valve, use the included vacuum pump to secure your housing against leaks before your dive.
