ABOUT JOHAN
Considering the fact that Johan have had a strong interest in photography for 40 years and been diving for 33 years it is a bit of a mystery that it took so long to combine the two. Johan has now been a serious underwater photographer for 5 years. During this short career he has still managed to win competitions and to get published in magazines.
The images he likes to do are pictures not focusing primarily on technical quality but rather on communicating a certain mood and evoke feelings. He believes that underwater photographers with that ability can change public opinion to make the oceans worth saving. If he could change one persons opinion, then he feels that he has made a difference.
Johan was representing Sweden in the 16th CMAS World Championship Underwater Photography in Mexico 2017 where he had some good results coming with him home. Johan finished at 8th place in category Wide angle, 5th place in Macro and 8th place in category Fish. We congratulate him for his great achievment.
