ABOUT TOMAS
Tomas first dived with a camera in 1995 and today as an experienced multi-skilled diver and photographer he travels around the world photographing and filming marine life. The search is always on for unique places to visit and the challenge is to be in the right position at the right time to catch that very special moment.
He has been a free diving instructor on a voluntary basis since the age of 15 and inspires his diving students to become the underwater photographers of the future. Over the years he has won many prizes in photo competitions. Whales, sharks and crocodiles have become his favourite subjects. Tomas images are used in illustrated articles for blogs, social media, exhibitions, courses and presentations.
He has been awarded the Azote scholarship giving permission to photograph the sperm whale in the waters off the Azores. Tomas´s latest exhibition Wild Water Animals was shown in 2017 at Fjärilshuset, Stockholm.
