Description

Lens Nauticam Wide WACP-1B (N100 & N120)

WACP-1B N120/N100 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port with Integrated float collar and interchangeable port mounting ring

The WACP-1B is a 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port. Unlike traditional ports or wet-mate corrective wide-angle optics, the WACP-1B is a "dry" corrective optic that modifies a 28mm equivalent lens to an extremely sharp 130º. Not only is the newer WACP-1B smaller and lighter, but it now integrates a built in buoyancy collar and offers a user interchangeable port mount from N120 to N100.

Introducing WACP-1B N120/N100 0.36x Wide Angle Conversion Port with Integrated float collar and interchangeable port mounting ring

The WACP-2 is also able to focus in air, making it an even more capable imaging tool adding the ability to capture over-under images and even filming topside in wet environments. WACP-2 maintains the exceptional close-focus characteristics of the WACP-1.

The WACP-2's zoom-through capabilities means the underwater filmmaker or photographer can capture establishing, medium and close-up shots all with one lens while maintaining optimum optical and close-focus performance. Take for instance the Nikkor Z 14-30mm F/4 S lens which receives a field-of-view range of 81º to 140º with the WACP-2. This lens allows for acquisition of more dynamic content on each and every dive without the need for a second camera.

A radical new shade design allows for extending the shade out past the front element at longer focal lengths or during transport to further protect the dome while at wider focal lengths it cantilevers towards the outside to prevent vignette.

The WACP-2 is sure to be the uncompromising underwater image maker's tool of choice when looking for maximum optical quality, flexibility and performance.
