Underwater lenses (Wet lenses)

Wet wide lens - a great idea

A "wet wide lens" is a wide angle or fisheye lens that can be attached outside the housing, on your underwater housing's front or port. The wet wide lens make it possible for you to photograph large animals and big scenes in great sharpness (because can be close to the scene or large animal and still fit it all into the frame). To find a suitable lens to your underwater system check the port charts from Nauticam below.

Wet macro lens for amazing images

A "wet macro lens" is attached on the underwater housing's front or port. A wet macro lenses will increase your magnification, and some of them will bring in the closest focus distance. Some lenses make it possible to shoot "super macro" with great magnification that 1 to 1.

On & Off while underwater

A wet lenses can be mounted underwater during your dive. So you can change from your normal lens to wide angle on the same dive. Most photographers like their wide lens so much that have it mounted becomes the preferred starting set-up.
